Hydraty – Stay Hydrated

What Stays On Your Device

Hydraty stores your hydration logs, daily goals, pet data, notification preferences, and subscription status. All of this data is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in storage mechanisms (UserDefaults / App Groups).

Apple Health (HealthKit)

Hydraty offers an optional integration with Apple Health. When you enable "Sync with Apple Health" in Settings:

• Write: Hydraty writes your logged water intake (dietaryWater) to Apple Health so other health apps can include it.
• Read: Hydraty may read today's water total from Apple Health to display a consolidated view.

All HealthKit data is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted off-device, sent to any server, or shared with any third party. This integration is disabled by default and requires your explicit consent via the iOS HealthKit authorization prompt.

You can revoke Hydraty's access to Apple Health at any time: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Hydraty.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Hydraty uses RevenueCat and Apple to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. These providers may process purchase history, transaction status, and an app-scoped identifier so the app can unlock paid features and restore purchases across installs.

Advertising

Hydraty's free experience may show ads delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and advertising data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. When iOS requires it, Hydraty asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before allowing personalized advertising.

You can review or change available ad privacy choices inside the app in Settings. If tracking permission is denied, Hydraty requests non-personalized ads when available.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number) unless you contact support directly.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use cookies or web-based tracking technologies.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not transmit any Apple Health data off your device.

How We Use Data

The data stored locally is used solely to provide app functionality: displaying your hydration progress, computing streaks, scheduling notifications, and syncing with Apple Health when you enable it. Purchase and advertising providers process the minimum data needed to unlock subscriptions, restore purchases, and deliver ads.

Third Parties

RevenueCat — We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through the App Store and may receive an anonymous app-user ID. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple — Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy practices are described at apple.com/privacy.

Google AdMob — AdMob provides advertising in the free version of Hydraty. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Hydraty does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at daniel.grabowski.dev@gmail.com and we will promptly remove it.
